The last week was pretty entertaining:- examples
1 45p SNG with about 15 players left. blinds 200-400 and I have about 4000. I'm big blind. Two limpers one of who is all in for about 650. If have 86 off. I call the little bet extra and so does the other limper. Flop 962 rainbow. Check check. Turn is a 4 - I bet 600 other player folds. All in guy catches up on river. The player who folded goes into a major rant about betting into the side pot and calls me an idiot. She would have won if I'd checked again blah blah blah. These people have no idea whatsoever. They just read somewhere that these sidepots should be checked around. We were nowhere near the bubble and an 2000 pot was very significant to my stack. But what really made me laugh was the same player when the blinds were 250-500
calls a 1500 raise leaving herself with 395 behind in a 3 way hand and then folds on the flop. Then later, somehow she got back up to nearly 1000 and folded her 500 big blind. How can this person call me an idiot - these players have no clue.
2 In a 9 player SNG I am crippled to 55 chips with the blinds at 100-200. I came second. It was amazing how quickly it can change. I got my stack back up to 6000 but lost heads up. The chip leader really helped me and the other two medium stacks ranted about it. First hand I'm all in UTG for 55 - big chip leader goes all in also - i hit a pair and quadruple up thanks to him getting the blinds out. He goes all in again next hand - I think i was big blind - I win that as well - I shove on my small blind with an ace - he calls obviously - and before I know it I'm back up to 600/700. The other two players were really ranting at the chip leader - it was hilarious. They are his chips he can do what he wants with them.
3 Sharkscope - this appears to be the latest thing to do when someone has beaten you in a pot is to look up their stats and publicly out them for being a losing player. That is so stupid and classless but I am seeing it all the time now.
Closing roll $699. (net of $500 cashout)
